Pia Toscano Hints David Foster and Katharine McPhee Might Sing at Her Wedding (Exclusive)

Pia Toscano may be a singer, but she has other performers for her wedding in mind.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at David Foster's 75th birthday bash You're the Inspiration: David Foster produced by Live Nation-Hewitt Silva at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, Nov. 3, the American Idol alum teased that Foster and his wife Katharine McPhee might sing at her wedding later this month.
"Well, there might be a very special performer performing at my ceremony," Toscano, 36, hints to PEOPLE.
"Might be David and Kat, but I probably shouldn't say anything," she continues.
Toscano — who was a contestant in season 10 of American Idol — says Foster is her "musical guardian angel," so it makes sense that she would want him to be a part of her special day.
"I started listening to David's music when I was just 4 years old," the bride-to-be says. "The first song I ever sang was 'I Will Always Love You.' And I used to write to Oprah [Winfrey] and him, when he would bring all these amazing artists on the Oprah show, and I would send my demos, and of course no one ever got them. So when I did American Idol, and I was introduced to David, it was like the biggest dream of mine and he's truly changed my life."
"He's given me a second chance at my career, and I am so happy and so honored that he would let me be a part of his birthday celebration with this incredible lineup," she adds.
Toscano, who sang Céline Dion's "The Power of Love" and "All By Myself" at the party, got engaged to On Stage Audio executive vice president Carmen Educate in October 2023. She is now "very excited" to tie the knot.
She was previously married to dancer Jimmy R.O. Smith. The former couple wed in January 2017 but split three years later.
When asked about how she has time to plan a wedding with her busy schedule, Toscano admits, "Well, we don't."
"We're hoping it comes together by Nov. 24," she says, before adding, "We have just the final touches."

Toscano's "small, very intimate" wedding will take place in Nashville at the Hermitage Hotel.
But almost immediately after the wedding, it's back to work for Toscano. In addition to writing and recording music for her new album coming out soon, the "Rhythm of the Water" singer is going back on tour with Andrea Bocelli in December.
So, honeymoon plans will be on hold until 2025.
"We're going to go to Europe in March because we love Europe. We love London," Toscano tells PEOPLE. "We're just going to do a whole European getaway."
