Photographer Captures Priceless Expressions As Dogs Snag Treats in Mid-Air
Some moments are worth capturing on film, and dogs are the perfect subject. Their lack of awareness as to how funny, cute, or silly they are makes for really great pictures. One Canadian woman is highlighting a few pups in the most priceless way As they bite, chomp, and hop toward a yummy treat tossed into the air, she gets it on film and the results are hilarious.
Keegan O’Neil of Floofy Studios (@floofystudios) photographed the dogs the moment after a treat thrown, proving once again dogs rule! Check them out!
In the clip that says,"My dog can't catch treats. Will you still be able to get those goofy photos?," three different pups take their shot at catching the treat in the air and all three miss in the most dog-like pictures ever taken!
"It’s about the effort not the accuracy," the caption reads and efforts were definitely made! With nearly 300k likes, this clip has fans of O'Neil absolutely losing it over the photos.
"Laughing way too hard @ 6 AM," one person commented.
"This is literally the BEST thing on the internet," another added.
"The Husky took 3 to 5 business days to react," another joked.
With dozen of other videos featuring lots of other dogs caught being goofy, O'Neil is a total pro, but the dogs are the real stars and they deserve all the treats (just don't throw them!).

Capture the Perfect Pet Photo From Your Phone
The three dogs in O'Neil's post are amazing models, and the end result is sheer perfection. If you want to create your own photoshoot to capture your dog's goofiness, Allison Mae from Allison Mae Photography explains taking photos of your dog begins with lighting. Always look for the best lighting like daylight streaming in through a window or outside in the hours before sunrise and after a sunset.
Next, change the exposure to balance out the image. You do this by tapping the subject on your phone. When you see the sun icon, increase brightness or decrease for a darker effect.
Focus on the background. Consider contrasting against your dog's fur. Also, be sure there aren't other background distractions that take away from your sweet pup. And use the focus box on the area you want more emphasis on.
Opt for "portrait-mode," but also make sure your dog's edges are clear. If not, you can "adjust the f-stop (slide towards the right) to bring back the texture."
Try using "burst-mode," which will get a bunch of photos at once. This is great when trying to capture a funny face or movement. Mae says to be sure there's plenty of light for these to look good. Use a treat or toy and hold it up by the phone so they're looking at you when you take the picture.
And finally, have fun, and be patient with them! Let your pup's personality shine through. Honestly, they couldn't take a bad photo if they tried!
