They welcomed their second child into the world in December and after a few rocky months it seems NRL couple Sam and Phoebe Burgess have reunited.

The couple were reportedly spotted at Golden Slipper Stakes Day in Rosehill on Saturday, where Phoebe looked stunning in a powder pink pant suit.

Her Instagram account shows her cheering for joy as she watches a horse racing, then panning the camera to the side where it appears her husband, Sam, can be seen eagerly watching as the whole thing unfolds.

Sam and Phoebe are said to have called timed on their marriage in early January after the pair welcomed second child William ‘Billy’ Burgess in early December.

They also share daughter Poppy, born in January 2017.

The Daily Telegraph reported that signs of the couple’s apparent split emerged over Christmas, when a social media photo showed Sam with his siblings, but Phoebe nowhere to be seen.

According to New Idea, Aussie actor and South Sydney Rabbitohs part-owner, Russell Crowe, was instrumental in getting the couple back together.

It’s claimed he told Sam to ‘pull his head in’ and gave him a ‘stern talking to’.

Their reported separation came after Sam became embroiled in the South Sydney Rabbitohs sexting scandal, back in September.

The 30-year-old sports star shared his “hurt” over seeing his wife upset over the scandal.

“What hurts me the most is seeing my wife upset,” the 29-year-old said at a press conference at the time. “I’m not angry, you can all make your own assumptions regarding the timing of this whole thing coming to light.”

The NRL star insisted his only priority was his loved ones.

“I just want to protect my family,” he explained.

Earlier that day, Phoebe broke her silence after it was alleged that two Rabbitohs players indecently exposed themselves to a young woman using Sam’s social media account.

The 29-year-old shared a family-centred photo on Instagram of herself with a prominent baby bump, sitting alongside daughter Poppy.

“Moments in the sun with our babies,” she wrote, adding that she was 27 weeks along in her pregnancy.
