Philadelphia Cream Cheese Dropped Some New Flavors That Fans 'Got to Try'

Philadelphia Cream Cheese has some brand new flavors joining its arsenal—and fans simply can't wait to dig in.

The mouth-watering news has recently been circulating on social media, with food news Instagram account Dad Bod Snacks giving fans a closer look at the new flavors that have officially joined the Philadelphia Cream Cheese lineup.

Among the specialty flavors that fans can excite their tastebuds with is the Philadelphia Whipped French Onion variety, plus a Whipped Chipotle option—both of which are sure to pack a punch when it comes to bold flavors.

And if those cream cheese varieties aren't already sounding like a drool-worthy dream for Philadelphia fans, things are about to get even better with the return of one of the brand's seasonal offerings.

Just in time for the autumn season, fans will be able to get their hands on the Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice cream cheese, a perfect cozy season snack and the ultimate ingredient for all your favorite fall recipes.

"Did you know @phillycreamchs has a French Onion, Chipotle, and Pumpkin Spice cream cheese on shelves??" the Dad Bod Snacks account wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 13, while giving followers a personal tasting review of each new flavor.

"They sent me a free sample and I'm happy to confirm it's gooooood," the caption read. "I love spicy flavors and this chipotle is a win in my book." 

Hyping up the Whipped Chipotle flavor for being "creamy AND spicy," the Dad Bod Snacks account insisted that one is the best of the three new varieties, though the French Onion also got an honorable mention.

Fans on Instagram wasted no time in expressing their excitement—and possible skepticism—over the new flavors, including one user who commented on a post from @snackbetch to say the Chipotle flavor particularly "sounds interesting."

"I have to know how the pumpkin spice one tasted???" someone else implored.

"oohhh french onion😋😋😋" another Instagram user wrote, while a different commenter added, "French onion on a bagel or toast wouldn’t be bad at all."

"Oooo got to try the French onion and maybe the chipotle," another noted.

Fans will just have to try for themselves by picking up one of the new flavors, on shelves now at most major retailers.
