Peter Stefanovic shocks Kyle Sandilands with sex confession

He’s known as a shock jock, but this time it was Kyle Sandilands left a little astonished during a radio interview with Peter Stefanovic.

The news presenter was speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show about his new gig on Sky News' First Edition, when Kyle decided to ask how the new hours were affecting his ‘intimacy’ with wife Sylvia Jeffreys.

“How does that interfere with the romance?” the 48-year-old radio host asked bluntly, clearly hoping to leave Peter red-faced.

“We’re still romantic,” was Peter’s initial subdued response, but Kyle pushed on.

“When were you last romantic... the exact day?” he asked.

“We’re always... we always are,” Peter replied, musing at the fact he had taken Kyle by surprise.

And Kyle’s stunned face revealed he was clearly expecting a more sheepish answer from Peter.

“Aw I love that, young love,” was the only response he could muster.

Peter and Sylvia first got engaged in 2016, during a holiday in France, before they married in April 2017 in Kangaroo Valley.

It had been a difficult 12 months for the couple. Sylvia Jeffreys recently opened up about her husband’s shock sacking from Channel Nine, months after both he and brother Karl were sidelined from their prominent roles at the network.

The ex-Today show newsreader made the admissions in an interview with Stellar magazine.

“I didn’t see change on that scale coming,” she told the magazine. “It was a difficult few days as everything was being sorted out, but I certainly didn’t expect it.”
