Pete Evans shares ten year transformation

A lot has changed for Pete Evans over the past decade.

While his role on My Kitchen Rules has been a staple, he’s completely changed his diet, gotten married and had two children, and earned himself a reputation as one of Australia’s most controversial media personalities.

He’s also lost a significant amount of weight, as photos he shared to Instagram on Tuesday show.

“I often share images and stories of others success stories. Well here is a little snapshot of mine,” Pete told his 220,000 followers.

“10 years between shots. I do way less exercise now, (play a lot more now) and just follow paleo principles 99% of the time (removing the most common inflammatory foods for humans while embracing well sourced meat, seafood and organic veg which in turn helps the planet).

“Pretty simple formula.”

His fans were quick to respond, with Therese Kerr, model Miranda Kerr’s mum, saying, “You look so different”.

“I can’t even remember you ever looking like the left pic. Love your work,” another said, while a third wrote, “Looks like paleo makes you better looking too!!!”

Pete’s fellow MKR judge Manu Feildel has also recently shared his weight loss journey after getting into health and fitness in a big way.

He dropped 12kgs but had to exclude carbs from his diet as part of the journey.

“I started with an eight-week challenge and I pushed it to a 12-week challenge…” he said in July.

“The diet is the hardest part – there’s no booze, no carbs and I’m training five-to-six times a week.”
