When you name a child, you must make a huge decision. Do you go with a classic, popular name that you know people will recognize? Or should you decide on a unique, distinctive name that will set your child apart from everyone else?

Regardless of what you decide on, you probably want to make sure the name is something your child will grow to love. After all, they have to live with the name for the rest of their life.

If you've ever wondered about the interesting names people decide for their children, you've come to the right place. Earlier this year, we asked the BuzzFeed Community about the unique baby names they've come across, and they didn't disappoint. Here are 19 of the most interesting ones we saw:

1."My niece wanted to name her daughter Myracle'honesty. That's the first name. I sent her texts for 6 months with hundreds of other names. I was not successful. She is now 14."

10."In a mom group I’m a part of on FB, a woman was talking about how she wanted to name her son ‘Simba.’ That alone is cringe, but her last name is Lyons. Yes, Simba Lyons. She posted trying to get us on her side for the name, and it did not go the way she hoped. LOL."
