Royal wedding fever is sweeping through the world, but while most of us are counting down until the moment Meghan Markle steps out of the car at Windsor Castle to reveal her wedding gown, royal insiders have noticed one interesting thing about her future step mother-in-law Camilla’s wedding dress.

After years of scandal and speculation, Camilla and Prince Charles finally sealed their decades-long love affair by making it official with a civil ceremony at The Guildhall, Windsor, in April 2005.

Camilla, who had previously been married to Andrew Parker Bowles before their 1995 divorce, was all smiles on the big day in a white coat and matching chiffon dress by Robinson Valentine, accessorised with a feather trim Philip Treacy hat and LK Bennett shoes

But while most brides would hang up their wedding dress and shove it in the back of the closet, royal watchers have revealed the famously thrifty Duchess of Cornwall has actually made good use of her wedding day attire.

While Kate Middleton has made headlines for recycling her maternity looks, Camilla has gone one better and worn her white coat and matching dress again for royal functions.

The Duchess of Cornwall stepped out in her wedding dress again in 2007 to attend the National Assembly of Wales.

While she swapped things up with a different wide-brimmed hat, Camila clearly has no qualms about rocking the same outfit more than once – even if it is her wedding dress.
