“Fifty-three countries, oh my goodness,” the 37-year-old says in the clip above. “It’ll keep us busy.”

But there’s something about her statement which has left many people slightly confused – is that a British twang we hear in her voice?

Some took to social media to hash the debate out, as many do in these types of situations.

Her appearance in the new documentary trailer isn’t the only time Meghan’s accent has sparked debate.

A few months ago a fan video surfaced of Meghan introducing herself to onlookers, and the internet went into a spin over her apparent British accent.

We don’t know about you, but we’re totally here for Meghan’s British accent.

And there’s a big question that remains: could she pick up an Aussie twang when she comes to visit in October? YES, PLEASE.
