Yahoo Lifestyle Paul George exits Clippers' blowout win with hamstring tightness
Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George was ruled out after exiting Thursday’s game against the Detroit Pistons with left hamstring tightness.
George left for the locker room with 3:45 remaining in the second quarter, and was announced out after halftime. He finished the game with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting with three rebounds and three assists in a 126-112 Clippers win.
Clippers coach Doc Rivers indicated after the game that George’s exit was precautionary and concerned his back more than his legs.
Doc Rivers said Paul George "just felt tightness, said it at halftime and then we just decided not to bring him back. He’s going to be evaluated, clearly. I think it’s the back more than the legs."

Some time off might do well for George, as he had been shooting an anemic 29.7 percent in the five games prior to Thursday.
Before Thursday, George was averaging 23.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game alongside Kawhi Leonard on the 25-11 Clippers. His debut with the team was delayed nearly a month due to offseason shoulder surgery.
