The full show will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and streamer ITVX, with exact viewing times available closer to the actual event.

Before this, the Oscars could be found on Sky Cinema but this partnership came to an end after 20 years of live coverage of the evening’s action.

2024 will mark the first time that ITV has hosted the Academy Awards.

Nominations for next year’s Oscars will be unveiled on Tuesday, 23 January, 2024.

It’s here where we’ll get our first look at the movies, actors, directors and filmmaking talent who are up for awards on the big night. Final voting will close on Tuesday, 27 February just a few days before the 96th Academy Awards takes place.

As for what might emerge as ones-to-watch, early chatter suggests Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Bradley Cooper’s Maestro and Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things could be destined for greatness.
