'Oppenheimer' Star Is Unrecognizable as They Announce Major Life Transition
Oppenheimer star Emma Dumont is making a major life change.
The actor recently changed their pronouns and name on their Instagram bio, shifting from "she/her" to "they/them" and updating their moniker to Nick Dumont.
"They identify as a trans masculine non-binary person. Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family," a rep for Dumont told TMZ.

Fans showed their support in the comments of a recent Instagram post featuring a series of photographs showing off the actor's new shorter hairstyle.
"Congrats on coming out, Nick! Enjoy being you and your newfound freedom 💖 🌈," wrote one person.
"I'm getting the cool lead singer-guitar player is a hip indie band thing on an unofficial solo tour for the sake of it vibes from this set and I'm loving it 😎😎😎," raved someone else.
"You’re killing it 🙌🔥👏," gushed another follower.

Dumont played Jackie, Robert Oppenheimer's sister-in-law, in Oppenheimer. They previously appeared in Marvel's The Gifted TV series, Paul Thomas Anderson's Licorice Pizza and NBC's Aquarius with David Duchovny.
While starring in the series Bunheads in 2012, Dumont opened up to Beautylish about their early experiences as a model.
"A lot of girls think it looks so glamorous, but it’s not like we’re roaming around drinking champagne and eating caviar all day," they admitted. "It’s just like going to work. I could be working at Starbucks, or working at a restaurant, or on a tv show. It’s just a job for me but at the same time, it’s great to be part of such a crazy awesome world where everyone’s an artist. It’s so cool and fun and I’ve met some amazing characters."
Dumont will be appearing in the upcoming horror thriller New Me, which doesn't yet have a release date.
