The one thing that spoiled Miley and Liam's wedding plans

Nearly 10 years after first meeting, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth married in an intimate ceremony at their Tennessee home in front of their friends and family, just before Christmas.

However, there was one thing that spoiled their “top secret” wedding.

Guests were instructed that no photos were to be taken or posted to social media, but someone apparently didn’t get the memo according to Miley’s sister, Brandi Cyrus.

Discussing the couple’s wedding on her podcast, Your Favorite Thing with Wells & Brandi, the 31-year-old revealed how one guest let the cat out of the bag.

While all the wedding attendees were part of the Cyrus-Hemsworth inner-circle, the couple made it clear they wanted to keep the news of their nuptials private.

“Even with family and close friends, they still made a point to say, ‘Hey guys, this is a private thing for a reason. We love you all, but please don’t take photos’,” Brandi explained.

But Liam’s friend Conrad Carr, an Aussie pro surfer, didn’t receive the message.

News of the couple’s nuptials gained traction after Conrad posted a few snaps on Instagram – as many guests would normally do at weddings – completely unaware of the bride and groom’s wishes.

“I didn’t really ask what happened, but I think from what he said, no one told him not to post about it, so he didn’t know,” Brandi said adding, Conrad “feels really bad” about letting the news slip before the newlyweds could announce it themselves.

However, Brandi insisted her little sister “doesn’t really care”.

Miley, 26, and Liam, 29, officially announced they had tied the knot the day after Christmas, posting a couple of sweet snaps to Instagram.

Liam and Miley originally met in 2009 after meeting on the set of The Last Song where they played teen love interests and went public with their romance a year later.

They were together for three years and got engaged during that period too but called quits on their relationship in 2013.

After a three-year hiatus, the pair reunited in 2016 and it seems their relationship has gone from strength-to-strength with Miley detailing her renewed love for Liam in the song ‘Malibu’.
