Olivia Plath Struggles to Accept Moriah's Apology After She Spread Lies About Stealing Her Music: 'There's No Trust' (Exclusive)

"I don't really know what to do with Mariah's apology because it's not specific," Olivia said in the exclusive sneak peak

Moriah Plath is ready to apologize to her former sister-in-law Olivia Plath — but Olivia isn’t quite ready to forgive.

In an exclusive first look at the upcoming episode of Welcome to Plathville, Moriah and Olivia come face-to-face for the first time since Olivia and Ethan broke up. Having not left things on good terms, Olivia explained why she was having a hard time accepting Moriah’s apology for past issues.

“I don't really know what to do with Mariah's apology because it's not specific,” Olivia said in her confessional. “I think you'd be really nice for her to be like, ‘Yeah, you know, Ethan told us what actually happened, and I'm sorry I called you a liar in front of the whole world when it was proven to be true.’”

Last season, Moriah told Ethan that Olivia had published Moriah’s music on her own account and later deleted it, keeping the profits. While Olivia insisted it wasn’t true, Moriah had previously stood her ground — until now.

“I'm really sorry that I made up a story about you stealing my music and broadcasted that to everyone,” Moriah admitted.

Knowing the truth finally came out was comforting for Olivia, but she did not think that the apology was all for her own redemption.

“I think that this is a conversation she needed to have to maybe come to terms with herself,” Olivia explained.

She went on to tell Moriah that knowing she was so comfortable publicly spreading rumors is what made her realize “there’s no trust there.” It was at that point that Olivia said she didn’t want to talk to the rest of the Plath family anymore.

“I don't need to have those conversations,” she shared. “My closure is what's happening. All those things should have been worked and worked out privately.”

Moriah replied, “I think even if I'm mad about a situation, I just never again want to do that to somebody, especially publicly.”

Olivia wasn’t letting Moriah down that easy, though. Continuing to push back, she explained to Moriah that her apology felt “suspicious” because it aligned with the release of new music.

“I know that you're releasing a song this week,” Olivia said. “I know you wrote it about me. I don't know, it just kind of sat with me in a weird way of like, meeting up and talking this week — the same week you're releasing a song that is like your burn book basically against me.”

The clip then came to an end as Moriah stayed silent and nodded her head, seemingly unsure what to say next.
