If you’re yet to be converted into a Meghan Markle fan, this seriously cute letter she penned for a fellow classmate back in 1993 may just change your mind.
During a documentary on The Duchess of Sussex, her former school principal Christine Knudsen has shared a heartfelt letter Meghan wrote to a “very shy” student in her class to boost her confidence.
“Dear Michelle, You are so strong and wonderful – your courage in strength in times of hardship is as admirable as your optimism and friendly nature,” the letter reads.
“I am so lucky to have you in my group and to be able to lead you on this adventure.
Never stop sharing your beautiful spirit and always remember how special you are – I am here if you ever need me. I love you, Meghan,” she concludes.
Christine, who worked at Immaculate Heart High School, went on to explain that the young girl on the receiving end of this letter struggled with socially and it was out of the kindness of Meghan’s heart to write the “most wonderful loving note”.
Meghan’s thoughtful nature and passion for humanitarian issues haven’t gone unnoticed – rather it’s something Prince Harry and Meghan first bonded over before the pair tied the knot at their royal wedding earlier in May.
Even now with her royal title, there’s no doubt the Duchess will continue down this path and bring attention to causes she cares about, including women’s health, gender equality, and female empowerment.
