I purchased pretty much the same jacket from this brand at Nordstrom for about $100 about four years ago, and I still wear it today. I’ve worn it on the subway, barhopping in the Lower East Side, with trousers to work events, over dresses to brunch with friends and out to dinner countless times. It’s my tried and true trusty jacket. If you’re missing this type of jacket in your wardrobe, go for this BLANKNYC one.
The BLANKNYC Faux Leather Moto Jacket pairs smooth faux leather with an asymmetric zip closure, zipper pockets, zips at the cuffs and adjustable snap tabs at the waist. It comes in three colors: black, burgundy and mushroom. The latter two colors have silver buttons and zippers, but I like how the black jacket has all-black hardware. If you don’t want silver zippers to clash with your gold shoes, the black jacket is the perfect neutral.
