If you thought you were having a bad day, spare a thought for Rami Malek, who was snubbed by Nicole Kidman on stage at the Golden Globes awards.
The awkward moment happened at the very end of the show, when the 51-year-old Aussie actress presented the cast of Bohemian Rhapsody with the gong for Best Drama Motion Picture.
Rami Malek, who starred as Freddie Mercury in the film, walked up on stage with the rest of the cast when he went to give presenter, Nicole Kidman, a hug.
However, as you can see in the video above, Nicole turned her back on the 37-year-old American actor, just when he went in for the hug.
The whole thing was of course captured by one Twitter user, who posted the video online, alongside the caption: “Rami Malek trying to talk to Nicole Kidman is like me trying to talk to my crush.”
Rami seemed to recover quickly from the awkward moment and was later pictured beaming as he stood on stage alongside Nicole.
He was also still very likely on a high after his win for Best Actor for his role in the film.
Meanwhile, Nicole lost on the award for Best Actress for her role in Destroyer, to Glenn Close for her role in The Wife.
The Australian actress stunned in a skintight burgundy gown by Michael Kors on the night, as she posed alongside her husband, Keith Urban.
She accessorised with a pair of dangling earrings and a disco ball bag.
Meanwhile, Keith looked dapper in a black tuxedo, as he let his wife shine on her night.
