Nicky Hilton Finally Reveals Unique Name of Son, Born in 2022

The mother of three finally announced the name of her 22-month-old toddler

Nicky Hilton just revealed her third child's unique name.

Hilton, 40, shared with Us Weekly that her 22-month-old son, who was born in June 2022, is named Chasen. The mother of three shares Chasen and daughters Lily-Grace Victoria, 6, and Theodora "Teddy" Marilyn, 5, with husband James Rothschild.

“We always liked the name, and it was unusual,” she said on Friday. The proud mother added, “He’s trying to talk. He’s saying lots of words, but no full sentences yet."

Hilton also shared how her daughters and Chasen's "big sisters adore him.”

“They love him. Zero jealousy. They just dote over him,” explained Hilton. “I’m very lucky that all of my children get along extremely well. The girls have their occasional bickering, but everyone gets along.”

She shared how Chasen — who will begin preschool this fall — is just "like his dad," explaining, "He’s very, very serious. It’s so cute.”

The fashion designer explained that their eldest daughter, Lily-Grace, is “more like [her]." Hilton confessed Lily-Grace is "a little more quiet and reserved.” 

"I think my youngest [daughter], Teddy, [is] definitely more girly and feminine,” she added of her second child.

At the time of Chasen's birth, Hilton announced how the family grew on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white silhouette image of the proud parents.

"We are officially a party of 5!" she wrote in the caption. "Welcome to the world sweet boy. Mom, dad and big sisters could not be more smitten. 💙."

While Hilton held off from sharing her son's name since she and Rothschild welcomed him in 2022, Hilton has shared snapshots of her toddler — including his recent Halloween costume as Mickey Mouse.

Hilton also shared a sweet picture celebrating her only son for National Sons Day in September 2023.

"Happy National Sons Day to our sons! 💙 Love doing this boy mom life with my bestie. 😊," she wrote in an Instagram post. The post included an image of Nicky alongside her older sister, Paris, and her nephew, Phoneix.

Last year, Hilton Rothschild spoke with PEOPLE about balancing her life as a mother and fashion designer. She confessed in the conversation that she's savoring the years that she can select the outfits for her children.

"Balancing my kids with my fashion design business is a never-ending battle," revealed Hilton. "But it's important to set the right example for the children from the beginning."

"My daughters like the colors pink and purple now, and they are girly girls in the sense that they love fashion and dressing up," she explained. "My youngest daughter used to tell me that her favorite color was gray. Thankfully that has changed!"
