Nick Jonas has fully embraced fatherhood and the new outlook on life that it has provided him. The Jonas Brothers singer opened about about what being a dad to his 2-year-old daughter, Malti, has been like and how supporting her has changed him for the better.

Speaking with People during the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie, The Good Half, on August 13, Jonas revealed that becoming a parent has had an overall positive effect on him.

"I think that, for me, becoming a parent changed everything in my life and my perspective on everything," he told the outlet. "That's a natural thing obviously that will happen."

He also shared that he even had Malti in mind while filming The Good Half.

"My daughter is the light of my world, and making projects that I'll be able to watch one day with her, absolutely a goal. And this movie for sure is one of those," he added.

Jonas has expressed his appreciation for his daughter in the past. In a 2022 interview with Variety, the singer explained that Malti helps him be attentive as possible, even if providing for her adds an extra weight to his world.

"The weight of everything is much more intense. It's now about trying to be as present and thoughtful as possible for your family and other people's journeys," he said. "I'm so grateful for [Malti Marie] and the wonderful perspective of being a parent."
