And now fans are starting to get seriously annoyed with the rugby star’s lack of commitment after he pulled out of his first two scheduled appearances of his book tour.
Not long after The Bachelor wrapped up the 31-year-old released his first book on Tuesday, The Honey Badger Guide To Life along with a national book tour that was meant to kick off this week.
However, with little notice, Nick decided to cancel his first two appearances at Big W outlets in Erina Fair on the NSW Central Coast and at Warringah Mall on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Both Shopping centres were left to break the news on their Facebook pages, with Warringah Mall event having a little dig at Nick by writing, “Ah shucks Nick, now we know how those Bachelorettes felt.”
And his lack of commitment to these events is really not helping his reputation among fans who expressed their frustration in the comments similar to how they responded to his one and only interview following the finale.
“Can’t commit to anyone or anything can he?” one wrote, while another fumed: “This guy is a disappointment all round.”
“I guess his head was cloudy and he couldn’t, in good conscience, commit to signing books for an hour,” one woman joked.
Others have comically suggested, “Can’t wait to hear his love advice,” which is ironic as the book was initially titled The Honey Badger Guide To Life (and Love) before needing some last minute edits to exclude the chapter on ‘love tips’.
It’s uncertain whether Nick will continue his other pre-scheduled tour dates across Australia over the next week including signings at participating QBD Books and Dymocks stores.
However, his next scheduled appearance is planned for Monday 12: 30 PM at Sydney’s George Street Dymocks store.
