Nick has been in hospital for more than 60 days and was originally admitted with what they believed to be pneumonia, however, it was soon confirmed to be coronavirus. He has since been battling a constant stream of coronavirus-related complications.
The Broadway star was placed in a medicall-induced coma, has had his right leg amputated, had a temporary pacemaker due to irregular heartbeats, suffered two lung infections and more.
Despite all of this, Amanda isn't giving up.
She shared a photo of Nick and their 11-month-old son Elvis to Instagram and wrote, "I’ve been told a couple times that he won’t make it. I’ve been told to say goodbye. I’ve been told it would take a miracle. Well, I have faith.
"Faith that is small as a mustard seed sometimes, but that is all you need sometimes. He’s still here and despite his odds gets slightly, slightly better every day. Where there is faith, there is hope. Where there is hope, there can be a miracle!"
Amanda continued, "Like my dad has said since day one, every day he’s still with us is a miracle. I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick."
Amanda has been constantly updating fans on Nick's condition and the many ups and downs they've faced.
Despite all the terrible news, Amanda has remained positive about his health.
Her followers have rallied behind her with one user writing, "You are so strong. I’m with you - I believe in miracles and especially this one!"
Another wrote, "Praying hard for you and your family, Amanda! Nick CAN DO IT."
Someone else added, "Miracles exist. I believe. Thinking of you daily."
Earlier this week Amanda shared a photo of herself and Nick walking hand-in-hand and wrote, "Nick wrote to me on Valentines Day, 'The future’s uncertain, the path is not always clear, but with you by my side I walk with no fear.'
"It’s day 60 and I miss him more than ever."
Last week she said in an Instagram Story, "I'm exhausted if you can't tell — physically and emotionally and mentally exhausted."
"This has been the craziest ride ever but we're still here and we're still fighting."
