49ers' Nick Bosa Seems To Unveil New Trump Tribute, And President-Elect Approves

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa danced like Donald Trump to celebrate a sack on Sunday, drawing a shoutout from the president-elect and a thumbs-up from other right-wingers, including Donald Trump Jr.

Bosa, who was fined last week for wearing a MAGA hat to interrupt a teammate’s interview, seemed to continue his open embrace of the authoritarian Republican. After he tackled Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield for a big loss in San Francisco’s 23-20 victory, he briefly pumped his arms forward and backward while shuffling in place. A few teammates joined in.

The celebration paid tribute to Trump’s widelymemed signature dance at rallies, conservatives said.

Trump sure seemed to love it. “Nick Bosa is a great player!” he gushed in all caps on Truth Social Sunday.

Now check out extended video reshared by Trump’s oldest son, OutKick’s Clay Travis and frequent Fox News guest and writer Riley Gaines.

“In a world of Colin Kaepernicks, be a Nick Bosa,” Gaines wrote in a cringey take on the moment.

Kaepernick, the former 49ers quarterback, began kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 to protest social injustice, drawing the ire of Trump. Bosa called Kaepernick a “clown” at the time but claimed he was not talking about the demonstration.

Bosa declared his Trump allegiance years ago and Trump praised him after he was drafted into the NFL. But the player’s hat stunt a short time before the 2024 election appeared to be one of his more public gestures in support of the former and now incoming president.
