Dak Prescott honors World Mental Health Day with fitting pregame look

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott arrived at AT&T Stadium for Week 5 looking the part with a cowboy hat and a trendy earth tones button-up shirt. It was the definition of “camouflage, but make it fashion.”

He completed the look with a matching black face mask that read “Break the Stigma,” a reference to speaking more openly about mental health issues. World Mental Health Day was Saturday.

Prescott, 27, revealed last month that he dealt with depression and began feeling anxiety in the early stages of the COVID-19 shutdown. At the same time his brother, Jace, died of suicide. NFL players appreciated the candid words from the star and bringing mental health concerns to a broader audience.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson commended him for his openness. Atlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst spoke with Prescott after their game this season. Hurst revealed earlier this year that he attempted suicide in 2016.

The Cowboys (1-3) are hosting the New York Giants (0-4) on Sunday.
