He might be one of the world's most desirable men, but that doesn't mean Eric Bana doesn't feel the pressure when it comes to the ladies.

The happily married actor was chatting with not one but three very giggly Sunrise hosts this morning and was quick to point out the male-to-female ratio.

"Have you ever been interviewed by three women before?" a cheeky Samantha Armytage prompted the actor.

"Nah, I'm feeling grossly outnumbered this morning," he said. "This is not a fair fight".

The Star Trek star dropped by the Sunrise studio to talk about his new film Special Correspondents in which he stars with comedian Ricky Gervais.

"Slap stick comedy really isn’t sort of my thing, so I never really feel like I’m missing out.

"But I’m always open to [comedy], so when something like this that’s a bit more dry - like a normal film that turns into a funny film - and that’s sort of where I’m more comfortable," he said.

Recalling his days on Full Frontal and his iconic characters such as Poida, Eric said he's not quite sure American audiences fully understand the Aussie sense of humour.

"I was watching the NBC Today show the other day and they were playing these clips of Full Frontal - what do the American's make of your old comedy acts?" a giggly Edwina Bartholomew asked the actor.

"Most of them haven’t seen it, but they are sort of a bit in shock because it’s like a party trick that you refuse to play.

"For most American’s I think they would want to show that card but I’ve never felt that pressure early on, I was always getting a lot of great jobs and was happy to keep the comedy stuff for another day," he said.

Aww, if only ALL actors were this humble!
