The Chase Australia star Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett’s marriage could be in turmoil following reports his wife Katie has found love with a much younger man.

Mark, 53, married Katie, 26, in a fairytale wedding five years ago – despite realising that they were actually second cousins.

Mark and Katie’s fathers are first cousins, but they actually met through mutual friends and did not find out that they were related until later.

“It wasn’t something we were aware of (when we first started dating) – it was one of those things that happened,” Mark told Loose Women in 2017.

But now their relationship appears to have come completely undone with reports circulating Katie has found love with a man 25 years her husband’s junior.

The man has been named by The Sun as 28-year-old Scott Bate, who’s been busy plastering loved-up photos with Katie across his social media for the past year.

Among the snaps is a shot of the pair cuddled up against a brick wall, while another shows Katie’s arm wrapped around Scott neck.

Others on Scott’s Facebook also included a clifftop selfie taken during a getaway to the Italian island of Capri.

According to The Sun, Katie has even met most of Scott’s friends, who reportedly had no idea she was married when they were introduced more than a year ago.

At the time of their marriage, Mark – who shares a son with Katie – admitted it was a shock going from his bachelor lifestyle to being married.

“I’d been a single man for a long while so I was getting used to the idea of being on my own,” he said at the time.

“As a bachelor you can be pretty selfish, you get used to doing what you want to do all the time.”
