Single mum-to-be Bianca Fazey is excited to be welcoming a baby into the world – she just wishes she could find her son’s dad to tell him the good news.

So desperate is she to find ‘Jeremy’, the good-looking fellow with whom she had a one-night stand in Perth, she even took the extraordinary step of advertising for him on trading site Gumtree.

"All I know of this man is his name is Jeremy and he’s tall and handsome with wavy dark hair," the softly spoken brunette from the tiny WA town of Jurien Bay tells New Idea.

After her ad was posted, she was swamped with responses from around the world.

"I got so many unpleasant phone calls that I quickly had to take the ad down," Bianca sighs.

"Some people were really abusive – men and women – saying things like: 'What a slut, why is she keeping it?' and even 'Kill it!' which really upset me. These people don’t know my circumstances.

"I didn’t expect such a reaction. I was just desperate to try to find Logan’s dad. He has a right to know he’s having a son, even if he doesn’t want to be involved."

The 24-year-old, who suffers from Polycystic ovary syndrome, says doctors believe this may be her only to chance to have children and she has quit her job and moved back in with her parents and two younger sisters in Jurien Bay, three hours north of Perth.
