Steve Peacocke: River Boy to Greek God

Long locks cascading down to his shoulders, his River Boys tattoos noticeably missing, and swapping his board shorts for a Grecian robe, Steve Peacocke is a whole new man!

These are the amazing first shots of the Home and Away star in his Hollywood blockbuster debut, Hercules.

Hand-picked for big- screen stardom by director Brett Ratner, the popular 32-year-old Aussie shares the spotlight with co-stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Hurt and Joseph Fiennes.

And it all happened a very long way from Summer Bay – with shooting taking place in exotic Hungary.

"This is an incredible opportunity for me to experience film on a massive scale [and] work with a world-class director," Steve told The Sydney Morning Herald.

Director Brett thinks Steve is a natural in his role as Stephanos, a farmer-turned-soldier.
