Nat Bassingthwaighte: 'I'm taking Dannii down!'

It's her fourth series in the hot seat, but judge and mentor Natalie Bassingthwaighte reveals she's feeling the pressure more than ever to take out the new series of The X Factor.

Speaking with New Idea, the former Rogue Traders singer and mum-of-two reveals that while all mentors - including last years' newcomers Redfoo and Dannii Minogue - are feeling more comfortable in each other's company this series, she's making a point not to get too cosy.

It's fellow female judge Dannii who the 38-year-old, is keeping an eye on, revealing the former Young Talent Time star has hit the set cockier than ever after her triumph with dark horse Dami Im last year.

“Dannii won and so now she’s got this dressing room that is like 10 times the size of ours and has an entourage of like 30 people, I definitely want to win so I can have all those perks too!” she says.

But lucky for Nat, it sounds like she's in with a fighting chance with her team this year, “I’m very happy with the category I have this year – the others should be very worried!” she revealed.
