Prince Harry finally got to meet his new niece, Princess Charlotte over the weekend.

The 30-year-old royal was in Australia for military training when the Princess was born three weeks ago, but he made his way back to England to meet the new baby girl at Prince William and Kate Middleton's home at Anmer Hall on Friday.

"Harry was counting down the days to meet Charlotte. He was very excited. An extremely proud uncle," an insider told Us Weekly.

According to People Magazine, Prince Harry brought Charlotte some of the gifts he was given during his eight-day tour of New Zealand.

The visit comes after Prince Harry said in a statement from Kensington Palace after Charlotte's birth: "She is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to meet her."

Following the visit with his niece, Harry competed in the Jerudong Trophy tournament at the Cirencester Park Polo Club to raise money for the MapAction and WellChild charities.
