Friends of Prince Harry have told the Daily Mail that the royal might be moving to Australia after leaving the army later this year.

The 30-year-old royal is planning a four-week trip Down Under next month as part of his final service with Armed Forces, and insiders say he has told friends he might spend a good part of 2016 in Australia.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry spent longer in Australia," one friend explained.

"He’ll be living and mixing with Australians, working with the Australian Defence Force and will get a good look at life out there. If he can find a function out there, perhaps some kind of charity military tie-up, that would work. He’s discussed it with friends and colleagues and they say he’ll like it there."

Harry already has strong ties to Australia, having worked as a jackaroo at a cattle station in Queensland in 2003, and is a close friend of Aussie singer and actress Natalie Imbruglia.

"He loves the fun-loving Aussie girls and there isn’t anyone in the UK holding him back," another friend revealed.
