KATIE’S SECRET: A BABY ON MY OWN

She has settled into her independent New York life, is flourishing on the Broadway stage and revelling in single motherhood – and now Katie Holmes is ready for the next big step: baby number two! Free of the constraints of her former life with ex-husband Tom Cruise, the contented-but-clucky divorcee has grown in confidence and is reportedly considering a sibling for Suri – and is prepared to go it alone if need be. ‘Katie has made it very clear she wants to add to her family and she doesn’t care if she’s a single mum when she does it,’ an insider tells New Idea.

FIFI BOX BABY SHOCK: GRANT'S THE DAD!

Popular media personality Fifi Box warmed the hearts of Australians when she recently revealed she was going to be a mum. But she stopped short of naming her child’s father, a mystery man she had been dating for a year. Now New Idea can exclusively reveal the baby’s dad is Australian Ironman legend and Olympian-turned-businessman Grant Kenny. Multiple sources have confirmed the surprising revelation to New Idea, including the fact the pair have been secretly dating since last year.

EXCLUSIVE: ADA NICODEMOU – NEW BABY, NEW BODY

Shaping up for her first Christmas as a mother, glowing Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou radiates happiness like a string of fairy lights. With a huge smile on her face and tiny four-month-old son Johnas cradled on her hip, she’s counting the days until the family’s festive celebrations – but she’s not counting kilojoules. ‘My outlook has changed since I became a mum,’ confides the 35-year-old Summer Bay favourite. ‘I tend not to sweat the small stuff anymore, it’s all about the bigger picture. I reckon I’m still about 5kg above my normal 48-50kg – I don’t have any scales, so I don’t weigh myself – but that’s not really important. I think it would be a lot worse to stand here like a stick figure right now, four months after giving birth, and tell other women: “You can do it too!”’

AT HOME WITH GREG NORMAN: ‘OUR WONDERFUL LIFE’

For decades we have known him as The Great White Shark – a legendary golfer, millionaire businessman and Aussie icon. But walking through Greg Norman’s luxury home, New Idea discovers the other side of the notoriously private sports star – that of a loving husband and stepfather. School runs and homework are now top priorities for the man who’s won 91 professional events in his career – and he wouldn’t have it any other way. The 57-year-old exclusively invites New Idea into the home he shares with his interior designer wife Kirsten – who Greg lovingly calls Kiki – and her daughters Kaya, eight, and Kelly, five, for the first time since they said ‘I do’ in November 2010.

NICOLE KIDMAN: OUR FIGHT FOR ANOTHER BABY

They have a dream life in Nashville, Tennessee, sharing a farmhouse with their two young daughters. But while Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman count their blessings, the pair admit they’d love more children. Keith confesses that his wife struggled with the complicated emotions of surrendering her fertility to a surrogate – a process the couple are believed to be confronted with again as they consider a third child.
