Do you have any favourite indulgent treats?

Licorice. I eat it by the packet. I’m really bad with that. I’ve gone through so many packets to find the right one, but my favourite is the Ricci brand. My homemade caramel slice is also a favourite and I love New York patisserie’s caramel cheesecake. I don’t normally eat cheesecake but that one is sensational.

What about savoury snacks?

I like cheese and crackers- that’s my savoury side. I love a cheese platter, that’s a dangerous thing to have near me!

What are your favourite ingredients or food items that you are cooking with at the moment?

Whatever I make, I somehow use Italian herbs and spices. I also love cabbage and cherry tomatoes. Just to do something different.

Do you have any favourite fruit?

I love strawberries. They’re easy to pick at during the day, and easy to put in a protein shake, which I have every morning.

Favourite vegetables?

Mushrooms, cabbage, eggplant.

Is there a favourite recipe or meal that you regularly make?

I grab mushrooms, cabbage, eggplant, brocollini, corn, chickpeas, lentils, and tamari sauce and make a veggie stir fry. It’s fabulous and easy to freeze for a week. It’s great for a meal if you want to add meat or even a snack.

What food item is always in your fridge/pantry?

Hommus and carrots. They make a great healthy snack and are easy to munch on. If you don’t have the time, don’t peel it, that’s where all the nutrients are!

Do you like shopping for groceries?

I really do. But I have learnt to never go when you’re hungry… you always walk away with way more than you need!
