Anger Management actor Charlie Sheen, 47, wrote 26-year-old Liz & Dick star Lindsay Lohan a check for $100,000, according to entertainment website TMZ.

Sheen gave Lohan the money to help pay her outstanding tax debt, which totals more than $230,000 from 2009 to 2010.

Insiders told the website that the actor offered to give her the money to cover the debt, but Lohan refused.

However, a source close to Lohan revealed that the actress's business manager later received a check from Sheen for $100,000.
