Goldie Hawn admits the key to a successful relationship is "compatibility and communication".
The 69-year-old actress revealed the secrets behind her 32-year relationship with longtime partner Kurt Russell, admitting "intention is the key".

"A lasting relationship isn't about marriage. It's about compatibility and communication. And you both need to want it to work. If one person does not want it to work, it isn’t going to work," Goldie told Porter magazine.
"It’s also about not losing yourself in each other. Being together, two pillars holding up the house and the roof, and being different, not having to agree on everything, learning how to deal with not agreeing. Everything’s a choice."

Goldie and Kurt first met on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1968, however they didn't start dating until 1983 and have been together ever since. They have one son, Wyatt, 28.
Prior to Kurt, Goldie was married to Bill Hudson, whom she had children Kate and Oliver with, before divorcing in 1980. She was also married to Gus Trikonis from 1969-1976.
