House Rules stars Maddi & Lloyd share their wedding album in this week's New Idea, on sale now.
House Rules stars' Maddi Carter and Lloyd Wright are so easygoing they completely handed over the planning of their long-awaited wedding day!
The couple - who came fourth on last year's show - decided on the new 'surprise' wedding trend.
It involves hiring a planner to do everything for you, including picking the cake and the table settings - with the bride and groom not getting a say at all!
"It was similar to our experience on House Rules where you hand over your keys to strangers to give you a dream home based on a few things they know about you," says 28-year-old Lloyd.

Maddi adds: "We told our wedding planners Roux Blond that were very laid-back and a little bohemian. We like rustic styling and we asked it to be informal and very chilled out."
And the result was everything they could’ve hoped for. "We wouldn’t have changed a thing," Lloyd says.
"We were blown away. The theming, table settings and food were just absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend a surprise wedding."
