Brooklyn Beckham follows in his dad's footsteps and signs with Arsenal

David and Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn is set to follow in his famous father's footsteps after reports that he has signed a deal with Arsenal football club.

The 15-year-old is believed to have impressed the coaches of the North London club and has signed a one year contract with Gunners' youth academy.

“Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played,” a source told the Daily Star.

The source added that a "big money deal" could be in the cards for the football player next summer.

“He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club.”

Brooklyn's father played for Premier League team Manchester United, which also has it's eyes on the brooding young star.

David, now 39, signed on with the team as a trainee when he was just 16 and made his debut at 19.

“The Beckhams have a strong link with Arsenal despite David’s Manchester United past,” another insider revealed.

While the Beckham's eldest child is the first to sign on with Arsenal professionally, both his younger brothers, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, nine, are members of the youth academy program.
