Despite the controversy surrounding this year's Bachelor, Blake Garvey. and his blink and you'll miss it engagement to Sam Frost, last year's couple Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich appear stronger than ever.

Stepping out at last night's Missoni for Target event in Sydney, the couple were asked to comment on this year's show, after it was revealed that despite becoming engaged during the show's finale, Blake had called off his relationship with Sam within days of the show finishing.

"We haven't see all the interviews and don't know all the facts," Anna told the Daily Mail, but did admit she feels sorry for newly-single Sam.

The couple also spoke about how this year's show appeared somewhat different to when they were on it, "You could see they were doing it differently from how they did it with us," she added.

Tim also added that he believes his 'pure intentions' helped him find last love, admitting: 'We wanted to keep it real - I wanted to keep it real.

"I went in there with the intentions of finding love and I was lucky enough to find that." he gushed.

The loved-up couple, who celebrated their one-year anniversary in September and have recently moved in together, have just returned from a romantic weekend away.

As for the next season of this hit show, Sportsbet are tipping her to be the next 'Bachelorette' and are taking bets on who she will date next with Osher Gunsberg at $11, Shane Warne at $12 - and even Geoffrey Edelsten at $101.
