After a day of rest, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are scheduled to take their son, Prince George with them today in what will be his first official royal engagement.
The little prince will join ten carefully selected tots for the meeting which has been arranged by the parent support organisation, Plunket, and will take place at Government House.
The 10 children and their parents who were chosen are all the same age as George, give or take a week, and are all from differing backgrounds and family situations, with a gay couple and a single mum in the mix.
This is believed to be his first play date with a large group of children.
As excitement grows over another sighting of the chubby-cheeked prince, royal officials have warned that The Duke and Duchess will make the decision to bring him only if he is in the mood.
But rest assured, if he does not attend today Wills and Kate will do their best to ensure he goes along to another event during their stay in New Zealand.
