The TV legend opens up exclusively to New Idea about everything he’s been through – including the grim reality of quadruple heart bypass surgery and the difficult personal circumstances engulfing their son Matthew. ‘I did think I might not come through it,’ the veteran funnyman admits of his surgery. Patti adds of their family: ‘I don’t think you ever stop worrying, but once children reach a certain age, a lot of things are out of your hands.’

Ita Buttrose, newly appointed Australian of the Year, tells it like it is about money, men and marriage. Sara Leal, the striking 23-year-old blonde who had a one-night stand with Ashton Kutcher in September 2011 – on the eve of his sixth wedding anniversary with Demi Moore – says she’s seen a photo of the Two and a Half Men star that may point to yet another infidelity. Speaking exclusively to New Idea, Sara decided to warn Ashton’s new love Mila Kunis after receiving a peculiar text message of the actor in his pyjamas, sent by a friend. The duchess’ oldest friend Jessica Hay speaks exclusively with New Idea and reveals why Kate is smiling again! Facing time apart as William resumes his RAF duties in Wales, lovebirds Wills and Kate snatched the chance for a babymoon at their favourite destination, the tropical island of Mustique. ‘William is such a lovely, attentive husband and felt Catherine deserved a real treat this Valentine’s Day,’ Jessica says.
