It seems OZ the Great and Powerful star James Franco isn't afraid to admit when he's been cheeky.
The 34-year-old star has apologised for mocking Justin Beiber after he posted a video on his WhoSay site earlier this month, where he pretended to be Justin while lip-syncing to his hit 'Boyfriend', featuring actress Ashley Benson.
The star - who starred alongside Ashley and Justin's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez in the movie Spring Breakers - told EOnline.com at the Sundance Film Festival:
"I was asked to take it down by some people. Bieber didn't contact me, but I don't think he was too happy.
He added: "I wasn't trying to diss him."
But this isn't the first time James has poked fun at a tweenie-bopping singer.
The actor also posted a short video of himself miming along to Selena Gomez's hit 'Love You Like A Love Song' while they were filming.
However, Selena didn't seem to mind, saying at the time: "I loved it. It was so good."
Meanwhile, in a cheeky come-back style, Selena performed a version of Justin Timberlake's song 'Cry Me A River' at a private charity concert in New York on Saturday night, which is believed to have been aimed at Bieber, who also performed the song on stage last year.
Before performing the acoustic song, she told guests at the event:
"I've been through a lot the past few months. It's been weird and sad and cool. This song definitely speaks to me."
Justin and Selena broke up shortly after holidaying in Mexico, where they had planned to ring in the New Year together, but got into an argument on December 30 after she allegedly found text messages from other girls on his phone.
