'Everybody Loves Raymond' star Doris Roberts dies at 90

Roberts was best known for her role as Ray's mother on late 90's - early 00's sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.

TMZ reports that the actress passed away on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Roberts won five Emmy awards, and also starred in famed flicks like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Grandma's Boy.

The beloved actress leaves behind a son, Michael Cannata Jr., who she had with her first husband Michael E. Cannata.

Doris' second husband, novelist and playwright William Goyen, passed away in 1983.
