Steve Peacocke spills on his latest Hollywood blockbuster

Homegrown hunk Steve Peacocke chatted with Kochie and Sam on Sunrise this morning about his soon-to-be released film Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

The movie stars Tina Fey and fellow Aussie Margot Robbie, and is about a correspondent who covers the war-torn areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Steve plays an ex-soldier in the flick, which he describes as a 'drama with humour'.

'It was a great fun time, we shot it all over the place and it was an all adventure film,' Steve said to the hosts.

The Home And Away star also revealed what working with Hollywood heavyweight Tina Fey was like.

'She's a really lovely lady, she's down to Earth and she gets on with the job, but can have a laugh at the same time,' he spilled.

'It was a great first proper film role [to be able to work with her].'

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is in cinemas from April 21.
