Jessica Marais to star in TV version of Zoe Foster Blake's novel

It's been unveiled that Jessica Marais will star in new TV series, The Wrong Girl.

The show will be based on Zoe Foster Blake's novel of the same name, which will see Jessica star as leading lady Lily, a TV producer who falls for her show's new chef.

'Zoe Foster Blake has created a complex character in Lily and I’m looking forward to portraying her unique view on life, love, friendship and family,' said Jessica of her character, Lily.

Author Zoe shared an ecstatic post on Instagram: 'For the LONGEST time I have wanted to share this most thrilling and exciting news! And now I can! My novel, The Wrong Girl, is being made into a telly show for Channel 10!

'Starring the brilliant, funny, enchanting Jessica Marais, no less! AND Liam Hemsworth! (That bit is a lie.) Don't bother bringing me a superlong ladder to get over the moon, guys, cos I am already here,' she said.

The series will commence shooting in Melbourne next year.
