Prince William and Kate Middleton have Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over for tea!

Prince William and Catherine, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met A-list couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for afternoon tea on Friday.

The informal meeting took place at Kensington Palace, where Brangelina were greeted by the royal couple and their son Prince George outside their Apartment 1A home.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt at Kensington Palace on Friday afternoon," a Kensington Palace spokesman tells Us Weekly.

"They discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade."

An insider told Us Weekly that the Hollywood stars even brought a special gift for William and Kate's new daughter, Princess Charlotte.

The source said William and Kate were 'really excited' for the meet-up, and added: "Everyone got on splendidly. Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. They ended up staying for almost a few hours."

Although Friday marked the Hollywood couple's first time meeting the Duke and Duchess, the 40-year-old actress, director and UN special envoy met Queen Elizabeth in October last year.
