Denmark's Crown Princess Mary showed grace under fire when an audience member passed wind during a speech at a library in Odense, Denmark.

The 43-year-old Aussie-born royal was giving a talk in front of children and adults and wishing them a happy summer when someone loudly let one rip.

Laughter broke out amongst the crowd and Mary too, who proved she's still that down-to-earth girl from Australia, as she struggled to stifle a giggle.

"It's like what happens at home for me when I try to tell someone something!" the royal mother of four said in Danish.
