What's in a name?

If you're Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, apparently quite a lot.

The 27-year-old actress went on Good Morning America on Tuesday (US time) to promote her new film, The Age of Adeline, and end up talking about -- what else? -- her new daughter, James.

Speaking to GMA host George Stephanopoulos, Blake explained her daughter's name.

"It's a family name," Blake said. "And I like having a boy's name, so I thought I'd pass it along."

While on the promo trail of her latest film, Blake has talked openly about both her daughter as well as her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds.

Speaking to Live With Kelly and Michael, Blake laughed that her husband is now "on full diaper duty" and that he "smells like poop."

Blake also said that being a new parent had not only changed her, but also made her super protective.

"Everything is different. You see a balcony and you're like, 'Oh, my God! The hotel needs to demolish this balcony because my child can't go anywhere near it.' Everything is just so much more heightened. We're crying all the time for no reason."

Blake gave birth to her first child in January this year.
