Shortly after announcing the news, Carrie followed it up by posting a pic of the little one, all cosy in her beanie and wrapped up in a blanket.
During her pregnancy, Carrie, who is already mum to seven-year-old son Oliver, admitted that it had been a tough pregnancy, and that she has been 'so much sicker' this time around.
"I’m better now that I’m not so sick. I was really really really sick so now I’m in the homeward stretch. Actually the hard part is to come," she said.
The star announced she and Chris were expecting back in October, revealing the news live on The Project.

"Speaking of babies, I have some news for you, I am having a baby," she said.
"My boyfriend Chris and I are expecting a baby next year," she added.
Carrie is already a mum to seven-year-old son Oliver, from her first marriage to Greg Lange, who passed away in 2010 following a long battle with cancer.
At the time, the Gold Logie nominee said that the morning sickness had already kicked in and added that she was both "petrified" and "excited".
