The famously leather-clad rocker has invited New Idea into her home of 34 years – and it quickly becomes apparent there’s an alter ego to The Wild One we all know and love: these days, being Suzi Quatro is as much about spoiling her grandkids as it is about playing bass guitar.

Rising to fame in the early ’70s, the bass-playing rocker was given a guest role as Leather Tuscadero on hit show Happy Days with Henry Winkler in 1977. Source: New Idea magazine

The reason for our visit is to talk about what she insists is her last-ever Australian tour, which kicks off in Perth in January next year.
