Who is the cast of The Fall of the House of Usher?
Many of the stars of Mike Flanagan’s two previous Netflix shows, set in Hill House and Bly Manor, will return for his third series for the streaming platform. Some of the familiar faces include Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, Carla Gugino and Rahul Kohli.
But there are also some new faces too. Bruce Greenwood, who you may remember from Doctor Sleep, leads the series alongside Donnie Darko’s Mary McDonnell. Fans of Star Wars will also be excited to see Mark Hamill take on a new role.

What is The Fall of the House of Usher about?
Taking its title from an 1839 short story by gothic writer Edgar Allan Poe, the series will take inspiration from that specific story as well as several of his other works.
It will follow the titular Usher family – led by ruthless siblings Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) – who have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege and power. But once the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth, past secrets begin to come to light.
When will The Fall of the House of Usher be released?
The series will debut on Netflix on 12th October. Just in time for spooky season!
How many episodes will there be?
The limited series will consist of a total of eight episodes with Mike Flanagan and his frequent collaborator, Michael Fimognari, each directing four of the episodes.
