Need to cool down? Here's how you can get free ice cream today

If you’re too hot to go outside but your wavering fan is doing nothing to cool you down indoors, we have the solution.

In news that is sure to bring a smile the the faces of Aussies suffering through the heatwave, we can all get our hands on free ice cream today.

The folks over at Menulog have partnered up with dessert kings, Baskin-Robbins, to give our free ice cream in the hope of helping the nation cool down.

To get your hands on their new magical range of ice cream, all you have to do is head to one of the participating Baskin-Robbins stores on Menulog to nab your treat.

Queenslanders should order from Baskin Robbins in West End, Victorians from Baskin Robbins in Camberwell and if you live in NSW, Baskin Robbins at Circular Quay is the place to go.

Three flavours are available for free, exclusively via Menulog, with a limit of two per customer, while stocks last.

The three flavours are Baby Mermaid, Baby Monster and Baby Unicorn.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane residents will need to be quick to snap up their free scoops before they melt away, as the offer is only available from Wednesday 16th January, while stocks last.

The epic offer comes as the nation endures one of the hottest heat waves on record in Australia.

Adelaide is facing a third-straight day of temperatures above 40 degrees and regional areas are pushing towards 50.
